2. Payment Security

We do not store your full credit card information on our servers. For your convenience, we may store a tokenized version of your payment method if you choose to save it for future purchases.

3. Currency

All transactions are processed in US Dollars (USD). If you're paying with a credit card issued in another currency, your bank will determine the exchange rate and may charge a foreign transaction fee.

4. Payment Verification

For your protection, we may verify your payment information before processing your order. This may include:

• Address Verification Service (AVS) to confirm your billing address matches the one on file with your card issuer
• CVV verification to confirm you have physical possession of the card
• In some cases, we may request additional identification to prevent fraud

5. Failed Payments

If your payment fails, we'll notify you immediately and provide options to try another payment method. Common reasons for payment failure include:

6. Pre-Authorization

When you place an order, we may pre-authorize your payment method to verify funds are available. This is not an actual charge, but may temporarily reduce your available balance. The pre-authorization will be released according to your bank's policy, typically within 3-5 business days.

7. Sales Tax

Sales tax will be calculated and added to your order total based on the shipping destination's tax requirements. International customers may be subject to customs duties and taxes upon delivery, which are the responsibility of the recipient.

8. Refunds

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Processing times vary by payment provider:

• Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days
• PayPal: 3-5 business days
• Apple Pay/Google Pay: 5-7 business days

9. Installment Payments

Select payment methods (like Shop Pay) may offer installment payment options. These are subject to approval by the payment provider and may require a credit check. MEIJIN does not control the terms or approval process for installment plans.
